My name is Mia and I’m 24 years old. I was born in Tallinn, Estonia where I lived for 18 years but I’ve always played for Finland. My dad is Finnish Swedish and my mum Russian Estonian

so my family is very mixed. At home we speak in 3 languages : in Russian with mum, Swedish with dad and English all together. I started playing tennis when I was 6 but just as a hobby because my family never played tennis before. When I was around 14 I decided I wanted to become pro and ever since I’ve been chasing my dream. My journey hasn’t been perfect as anyone’s but I’ve learned a lot about tennis and life.
